This has been a pretty packed week. Packed with AWESOME
Much
of the first part of the week was spent tying loose ends and Sister
Ipson packing. We did get to meet a LA woman though, who was super nice
and might come back to church with us soon. She referred her son to YSA,
haha :)
Wednesday
was training day. The training itself was awesome! Jesus the Perfect
Leader by Pres. Kimball is so cool!! I seriously read it like evryday.
At
teh training I met me wonderful new trainee: Sister Milligan from
Sacramento, CA. I oved her from the moment I met her! I've basically
decided that I got the best of the bunch (although I'm sure the rest are
great too). It was crazy because all7 of the sisters I came out with 12
weeks ago are trainers now!! Many of us are in trios.
Sister
Milligan and I met up with Hermana Hatch (she's from Pasadena, CA) at
lunch, and (just like my first time) ended up sitting at the church for
several hours until we were the last ones given a ride home. Then we hit
the streets!
Sister
Milligan talks to EVERYONE, and she's SO good at it! Seriously like
already the best missionary in the field :) I love her dearly. She's so
willing to try anything and work hard!
We met some REALLY cool people this week. At least two of them are so getting baptized soon :)
Saturday
was a ton of fun. We didn't have much on the schedule so we just follow
the Rummage Sale signs (that's what they call Yard Sales here) and
talked to people at the sales, then at the Farmets Market. It was pretty
fantastic. We've also been doing a lot of service in order to help
people and talk with them :)
Lots to do this P-day! Gotta run!
Love you all,
Sister Neal
