I believe in many
different forms of missionary work. One of those includes writing
letters to our sisters because everyone knows getting letters makes
people happy :D Also: yay for an artsy companion!
MISSION TOUR. Was. Wednesday. SOOOO GOOD! I was kinda
distracted the whole time (long story) but Elder Perkins was super
awesome and he taught me a lot...I wish I brought my notes...
Most importantly: just keep doing everything you can!
We blasted through weekly planning this week because I am not
sure why but we never have any time!!! And we needed some. So weekly
planning takes the shaft.
We got a bunch of new
investigators this week, so I'm really excited to see how it goes!
Several of them are really solid! Quentin is the most sincere kid I've
ever met. He's so ready for find truth in his life. Then Tina and
Angelina who are the cutest 13-year-olds ever. Also the smartest. The
Hmong elders are working on Tina's parents, so we get to work with her!
Anyone notice the common theme in the relief society broadcast? Hmm...I feel the world coming to an end...
LEFTOVERS.
It really is a miracle when the church gives you all their delicious
real-food leftovers the very day you actually kinda need them. We're not
gonna starve!
We had a BAPTISM!!!!! Taylor, the 15 year old daughter of a
returning-less-active was baptized. It really was a miracle
because...not a lot of people believed it could ever happen. Most people
actually believed it was totally hopeless. But she is the most solid
convert EVER. Miracles. Do. Happen. And she's a strength to her whole
family. Love her!!!
We've been running a few miles for exercise everday because
Sister Newton's really into that kinda of stuff. It feels good!...most
of the time :)
Hope you all are doing well! I'm writing some letters today :)
Sister Neal
