11/4/13: XFERS and MIRACLES

Tony contacted us. Again. The man is crazy. But he wants to come to church! If he does, we'll teach him. But he keeps saying that, and he never comes. So...thinking no. What do you do with these people?
You know when people leave the church because a certain issue 'wasn't inspired enough' you've got someone with pride issues. I hate pride! BAH!
Our exchanges this week were fun. One was hard, but the other one was with a sister that got into the field like two weeks ago and we had a BLAST and saw MIRACLES everywhere we went! That's the glory of not knowing what you're doing, when you're both in an area you barely know with no one you know. You gotta follow the spirit :) We met Marlene, the sweetest lady ever who has had some hard times lately but is so prepared because of it :) We were also trying to pull transfer secrets out of the ZLs, but they weren't having it. Well, they told us some stuff, haha.
Me and Sista Newton are staying put! Which we were expecting and are very happy about :) But then we found out that the two sisters in our zone who are leaving are opening a new STL area together! Didn't see that coming. One of my old trainees is also becoming an STL. All this just makes me happy mostly because it means I get to see all of them at Leadership Council this weekend!!! I think I might cry when I get to see Sister Milligan again, it's been so long! <3
We taught Gabriela this week. She's so great. She had the missionary discussions a million times in Utah and when we first started talking she was totally closed off to baptism. But we just talked to her about her family and her dreams and stuff for about an hour and by the end of it she was asking about what she has to do to get baptized and said "I always knew I would get baptized someday. I just wasn't ready yet." The timing is NOW!! Sweet :)
Other crazy weird stuff happened at transfers. Plus we hear we might be changing some mission/zone/stake boundaries to fix some of the issues we're having with those...that would be cool :)
Uh...I hit my nine month mark in two days???? Half way? WHAT???
We had epic church on Sunday and taught one of our investigators and them spent like three hours doing service for a family in the ward that just moved. Love them :)
The baptism planned for last week didn't happen, but it's DEFINITELY happening this week. I'll send a pic when it happens :)
We just have the most blessed area ever <3 I love it here soooo much!! And I can't wait to see what's happening next :) life is just so crazy as a missionary! I LOVE IT!
Love you guys too :) YOLO
Sister Neal
