Normally
when we have something crazy go on and we're super busy and not
sleeping, we take an appropriate amount of time to nap and rejuvenate
afterwards. This week we didn't even have time for that!
Monday I bought new shoes! YEAH! Even though I'm probably not
going to wear them much in the winter...sidenote: Wisconsin does NOT
have good malls...
Tuesday we had Zone Training, and Sister
Newton and I presented a training that went really well, I think. Then
we helped Nacho start her mission papers and ate dinner with our
favorite ward-missionary-thats-not-actually-a-ward-missionary, Jenni.
And our actual-ward-missionary Maggie. They are the best people on this
earth :) Even if Jenni's voting for Wisconsin in the Wisconsin-BYU
game...student section. understandable.
We tried and failed at going to bed early Tuesday night
because Wednesday was 4AM day. We drove to Marinette by 6AM, then slept
on the two hour van drive to Marquette. Then gave out Zone Training
again, and repeated the process back home.
The mutual kids fed all the missionaries dinner, which was pretty
fun, and Sister Ross solved all our problems. I'm going to her whenever I
need something done in this ward now :) Yay for getting a million
people patriarchal blessing recommends and temple recommends!! (Then
bishop talked about it in his talk on Sunday, cause so many people were
asking for them, lol)
Thursday we had an exchange with Sturgeon Bay. I am grateful
we follow the spirit even though I really wanted to go see Sturg in the
fall because Sister Jardine and I had a great day in GB :) Quentin and
James are rocking!!
Friday we had...another exchange! Haha. Sister Bennett and I
helped Nacho some more with preparing for her mission and taught like 4
lessons to kids under 10. We teach a lot of kids...
Then
Saturday was just plain packed! We taught cute Tina, met Kim and
Madison--SOLID referrals :)--volunteered at the National Railroad Museum
(and rode on the train, of course) helped out at the ward
trunk-or-treat, and played volleyball with several nonmembers and a
bunch of the youth. I have never laughed so hard at a game of volleyball
in my LIFE. SOOOO FUNNNNNYYYYYY it was AWESOME
We did weekly planning on Sunday.
Have I ever
mentioned that it's a small world? Well it is because Sister Newton is
ex-bishop Newton's NIECE. Bam. That's my comp :)
So
transfers are in two weeks and there's a relatively small chance that
I'll get transferred but it's possible which is driving me crazy. But
I'll let you know what's going on :) I really want to stay, but at the
same time it would be fun to go somewhere new :)
Love you guys! Write me :) and my companion. We're suffering from lack of letters, lol. Remember to keep being missionaries :D
